On is way out of Office President Obama is doing whatever he can to make life as difficult for Trump as possible once he's sworn in as President. From his embargoing Federally owned lands from future oil or gas exploration, to releasing scores of so called "non violent" criminals from jail, to pulling the rug out from Cuban immigrants by reneging on our wet foot, dry foot policy, to changing non-citizen voter registration rules, and now this from his EPA, aimed at frustrating the Auto industry's attempts to meet arcane fuel efficiency standards.

And then there was also this little doosy added on his way out... he's firing the head of the D.C. National Guard who is responsible for assuring public safety during the Presidential inauguration on the day Trump gets sworn in!

I don't think Obama had anything to do with his removal. He submitted his resignation which is common practice. Trump can choose to accept the resignation or keep him.

The timing just looks bad, even if Obama didn't organize his removal himself. It's not clear he didn't, article says Army recommended it and Trump accepted it (resignation) but it's never been done like that...on the day of the new incoming guy as he's being sworn in!

That's just petty. They couldn't wait until January 21st?

It is and has been an administration about HIM. He hears that the citizens want positive changes made and he was incapable of bringing about changes that the Nation saw as positive. He did what he said he would--he made radical changes to America. A whole lot of them done illegally (outside the Constitution) and proved his ineptness and ability deficit. So, like any spoiled brat who wants to look big and important in the face of overwhelming fact to the contrary, will do all possible to make the opposition have a more difficult time achieving the potential positive goals that have been outlined. He will do all possible (legal or illegal) to hinder Trump in achieving positivity for the American citizens that Obama was so unable to do in his miserable 8 years.
