I need to ready for golf season when it starts in July....assuming all the damn snow is melted by then.
We set a record today for most snow since 1962 in the month of February. And there's two storms building in the next four days. I'm starting to get nervous that we might not be able to get out of here in a few days.
It's actually been mild here comparatively....I've played twice in the last couple weeks. When does it generally break up there?

It's hard to say. Usually by mid-April we're in the clear....sometimes sooner, but seldom much later. We've been golfing in March a couple times the last five or six years, and then year got 18 inches of snow on April 14. Just hard to say. I'd say, at minimum, we're five or six weeks out right now. Just so much damn snow.
It's funny you ask that, because within the last hour, I've cleared nine messages from my kids' school on my voicemail telling us they were closing early or would be closed all day.
I'd say pretty much every school in Minnesota is going to be going to school a week later this year because of all the cancellations. My kids haven't had a full week of school since mid-January. But this year has been extreme. Usually schools build in two or three 'snow days' per year without penalty.
Ohio it is five. My mom is a teacher and was a little po'd they had to go on President's day

To be fair, it was anti Obama people who got this all started, when most people understood this shouldn’t have been political.
At this point we should all just find it super cool to have one of the most famous people on Earth at our game.
I think people were going after Obama for being a tar heel fan. Not his politics. But hey, I could be wrong.
