Louisville is expected to hire Lance Taylor as the new offensive coordinator, ESPN has learned. Taylor is the run game coordinator/RB coach at Notre Dame and coached WRs in the NFL at the Carolina Panthers. He coached Christian McCaffrey and Bryce Love at Stanford.

Satterfield had to relinquish the play calling duties. Let's hope this new guy is better.
What is more important with these hires. Not so much how good each coach is perceived to be. It's were they are coming from the top football schools. They have seen what it takes to have successful programs. Any little thing they bring to the table to offer Satt and Brown will pay off hopefully.
I don't know about the other coaches but Coach Taylor is a gem. I hate seeing him leave Notre Dame. I know Coach Freeman is counting on his offensive coaches to design the offensive plays this season. Just when it looked like things were settling down more crap flies out of South Bend.
