Not a fan of the play call on that last play by A&M. Not sure it would have been a TD even if he caught it. I’d rather see the QB on the edge with a run/pass option there.
Yeah, in that situation, if you aren't going for the quick slant, or something similar, you need to buy yourself some time, give yourself options ... maybe you shake something loose by rolling out and threatening QB run ... covered WR sneaks open or defender cheats up and frees a receiver. Bama had everything smothered.

The benefit of Will Anderson on one side and #15 on the other.

Spread em out. QB under center, Bush Push him in as quickly as you can get in position and get set. Bama NT had not been dominant. Henry T isn't a power ILB either.

I wonder if bama athletic supporters are pushing for saban to be fired for not having better-prepared the back-up QB. That kid was in over his head last night.

Ewers had a nice game for Texas….and I see Bama fell to #3 after their performance this weekend. OSU up to #2.
