October 8 Generic NFL Games Thread

Bills-Jaguars in London kicks off at 9:30 am ET on the NFL Network.

I’ll be focusing on Baltimore-Pittsburgh at 1, the only 1 pm game I’ll be able to find on the tube. Lamar is always fun to watch. Also, train wrecks are fascinating.

So if I live in California the kick time for this game is 6:30 am? The NFL is doing this why? International fans? It's incredibly stupid.

Several coworkers at the game rooting on the Bills. They can't be happy. At least they've got London! Was there last year during Giants vs Green Bay game. Green Bay fans dominated the city. I'm expecting it's the same for the Bills.

Injuries mounting for Bills. White last week done for year now Milano and Daquan Jones probably tore a pec. Nightmarish plus starting DE Rousseau out with foot injury. Bills offense has to come alive only 11-0.

Diggs with TD and Epenesa with strip fumble on Lawrence. 11-7 Jags. Bills get ball to start the half.

I turned on the game like a half hour ago and it seems to be a definite Buffalo home field advantage.

Meanwhile, the Bills can’t cover Calvin Ridley.

Allen had a guy open deep and got intercepted. It was a great play by the Jacksonville player but wow what a missed opportunity.

Game over. You never know what you’ll get in the NFL. Maybe the Steelers will surprise.

Buffalo made it interesting after going down two scores late. They had a shot at the end.

Thanks. I caught the entire third quarter but then had a few things to take care of and caught nothing of the fourth quarter except the last Buffalo drive. Long flight home.

Buffalo’s offense let them down today. Defense played their hearts out without 5 starters.

The first half of Balt-Pitt is a contest as to which HC can make worse decisions. Tomlin should have been happy going into half only down 7 and instead calls TO on a Balt Third down. Of course Balt converts. Instead of kicking a FG and going up two scores against and O that can't score, goes for it on 4th and doesn't convert.

yes not a good move by Tomlin but then Harbaugh provides the gift back. These guys like analytics but in a low scoring game you take points - and Harbaugh should have taken FG to go 13-3. I think he made similar mistake in an earlier game this year. The line between aggressive and stupid is pretty fine.

The rule changes the NFL have made give the offense such an advantage that Tomlin ball doesn't work anymore. He needs to adapt or resign.
