I think it was a brilliant counter response from pope, for Buzz to be so hands on, on every play A&M runs, Pope had no problem drawing up a play to score right before half with Buzz going all out to stop it.

I couldn’t tell if that was a set play or if Garrison just made a great pass. It was so quick I tend to think it was set but…. I couldn’t be any happier with this coaching staff than I already am.

What's crazy is that play had multiple options. Garrison could have easily drop-stepped to the basket for a dunk, but he also knew that Jax was going to be open before he even received the ball. Giving up a good shot for a better shot!

Did you guys know that Pope plays Chess? 🤣

No freaking out. No yelling go. No staring down players or pulling them after a simple mistake. Just straight up smart coaching of smart and capable kids which leads to good results. Refreshing as hell.

I'm impressed with his plays right after our timeouts.
Hopefully that can translate to last possession buckets if down one score to win or tie.
