of all the 1-2 seeds we could have played

Nah man. I think I’d take St. John’s seeing as how they may be the worst shooting team in the field and havnt beaten anyone in the top 25 today

Agree - I didn't realize HOW BAD St. Johns has been this season from the perimeter. Then, on top of that, they don't have much size either???

They were definitely overseeded as a 2, so I would've picked them as well.

I would have picked St John's since they lost and I actually was hoping for us to be in St John's bracket because they suck on offense.

Of course it would meant us playing Arkansas and Coach Cal that been something.

we’re bigger than both msu and sju, but come on we’d have barely been able to make a pass against sju and don’t have penetrators like ark, who also had vertical ability to play over the top. yes, they’d have been my second pick, but no way msu. that is just a bad matchup imo.

We match up pretty well with UT, but they will be ready for us. I really don't want to play them simply because the teams know each other so well. Gonna be a rough one for sure. I pray we are shooting well and they aren't like the first game.

Tennessee didn't really wow me with either of their first two performances. We matchup well with them, and I think Rick Barnes is checking out.

I believe one of the times we beat them we didn't have either Jrob OR Butler. They also needed to shoot 50% from the 3pt land last night and they still didn't get to 70 points.

But, trying to beat a team 3 times is never easy.

UT has 3 guys that can beat you. Lanier, Zeigler and Gainey. Keep them in check and they won’t win.

I gotta say though, losing to UT would suck extra hard. Beat them and outlast Cal in the tournament and I’m good. Oh and Duke not win the title. That’s the only 3 things I ask for. 😂

So we've beaten 3 of the presently remaining sweet sixteen field, lost to 4 of the remaining teams, think 4-7 in those total games this season.

St Johns missed probably 20 layups yesterday. I thought Amari was playing for them for a second!😂, I was pulling so hard for them to beat Arkansas!

I have no idea who is gonna win but I am not looking forward to this. It’s gonna hurt just a little bit more for whoever loses.

That is true. The whole "everything from Sweet 16 on is gravy" idea is kinda tested since it's Tennessee in the Sweet 16. But, in the big picture, with the rushed roster composition and the adversity this team faced in season, there's not a lot of complaints from realistic UK fans even if yall get us Friday.

Yeah losing to them would suck and is sadly the most likely scenario. But I think even our biggest haters would have tip their cap on our season. Surpassed all reasonable expectations, and that’s will a millions injuries.

It’s a 50:50 game I’ll take that. We just needed to avoid certain teams a la the bama’s of the world who we can’t seem to play with
UT has not played in large arenas this year either. Could affect Laniers shooting like it did at rupp. Kentucky has played in 2 neutral site games in large arenas and shot well in both.
