Saw Missouri beat Bama last night.

Second time this year we play them after a loss and now its an away game.

Do we have a chance? I assume no Butler and Robinson.

Could we make it competitive?

If we can pull a win at bama that would make up for the dumb Texas loss to help our seed line.

They can come in to the game down from a 2 game losing streak or come out fired up to end their 2 game losing, I’d say the latter since it’s at home but absolutely we have a chance.
I think we found an offense that we must play inside out, especially if Carr is getting healthier. We have to attack the rim and/or get paint touches by Williams or Carr cause it opens everything up for our shooters but we gotta lock in on D and keep them off the glass and be there at the end. All we can ask from them is to have a chance at the end but I definitely think we can win on Saturday.

We may have to score 100 points to win, and that may not be enough. If Sears doesn’t go crazy and their corner 3-point shooters shoot poorly, we have a chance. Bama is way bigger than Vandy and tougher, so a win for us on Saturday is unlikely. I hope we can stay in the game til late.
Realistically, the only wins I see left on the schedule are LSU and Oklahoma.

Agree that by them losing, now 2 in a row, that makes it much more difficult for us to win there on Saturday. Especially if no Butler!

The whole "they lost their last game (or two) so now they are going to be almost unbeatable" cliche is a myth.

All that a team losing their most recent game really says is that the team can be beaten -- and recently was.

I doubt their players didn't care about winning that game. They just lost.

Beating Alabama on the road with Butler and Robinson out was always going to be very tough. It would have been if Alabama won its last two games, and it is now.

Playing in Alabama is always an awful experience. I can still remember Sanderson stalking the sideline in the mid to late eighties with that stupid jacket on and thinking how much I hated playing there. Now it's Oats. Always got a bad whistle there too.

They don't play great D and they can be sloppy with the ball .. But I'm sure Oates has their attention after a 2 game losing streak. Cats will have to hit everything to win it.

There effort and fight will be off the charts! We should be playing with house money, no pressure.

So let happen what may, i will not be upset with a L.

It will be interesting to see what the TV ratings are for Kentucky vs. Alabama this weekend.

Auburn-Alabama men’s college basketball game largest SEC-controlled college basketball audience since 2019 averaging 2.76 million viewers

"The Tigers’ win — which peaked with 3.5 million — outdrew the two previous #1 vs. #2 matchups in men’s college basketball, Gonzaga-UCLA in November 2021 (1.59M) and Michigan State-Kentucky in the 2019 Champions Classic (2.33M). The last #1 vs. #2 men’s game to deliver a larger audience was Duke-Michigan State in the 2017 Champions Classic (3.02M)."

I'm so glad SEC basketball has finally arrived on the national scene!

This team has found ways to beat good teams when many of us thought it was gonna be near impossible. I'm done assuming the worst. This team surprises me all the time so will just watch Saturday and see what happens.

This a pure house money game.

We will be heavy underdogs. Literally no one expects us to have a chance in this game, much less win.

I think we likely leave Tuscaloosa with a loss, but this team has proven it can beat top teams unexpectedly.

LOVED Coach Sanderson though
Dale Brown too

Remember when they used to have the 2-3 different three point lines AND volleyball lines painted on the court?

That crap was confusing

This is what I was gonna say
We can go in loose and play basketball
Not expected to win
Get warm from the perimeter, get the W
