Yeah on the surface today has been a really tough day for the roster. Still think we have good news on the horizon.
He is not testing the waters. He is gone.
Duke is due for some good news.
I am not disappointed in losing Proctor. It’s not personal, but I think we need a guard that’s a little more aggressive than he is.
Terrible take. A senior Proctor would've been better than anyone we get in the portal.
Point guard wise- you’re spot on. Losing Rese wasn’t shocking, but certainly disappointing to say the least.
Duke needs to start bring in some players, losing them left and right. Still don’t know why Henderson opted out of his commitment and why Duke backed away from Ament. Those two are head scratchers right now unless something is coming up. So much for retaining players, it’s only C Fos right now and the freshman. Disappointing offseason so far.
It’s just my honest opinion. Just because a guy plays at Duke doesn’t mean they’re better than other guards. Proctor is solid defensively, but weak at taking the ball to the hole, an average ball handler, and a streaky shooter.
There's no guard out there we could bring in who would bring more than a senior Proctor would.
I wanted Proctor back. Losing your entire starting 5 is not ideal. There is a weird vibe around the team right now. Maybe we get some great news. Evans is a coin flip right now.
Duke’s game plan is . See who leaves and see who matches their players NIL. Just playing . I have no clue what the roster plan is .

Wilkins(we've offered), and plans to reclass to be eligible for '25-'26. Hopefully we get him, as he could make an early impact. Smooth. Drains threes and finishes at hoop. Good chicken soup for the soul!!!

I really don’t know what the game plan is either. Right now if magically Duke retains Big Pat, Brown and Evans that would be 4 return players. Now that Henderson left that leaves only 3 in coming freshman. A roster of 7 players is not going to cut it. Coach Scheyer needs to score big in the portal. Crazy seems like they sat on this news too.
Hey . Duke has foster committed for next season . They still need atleast nine spots sured up .
This is from the same fan base that was down in the dumps losing Mitchell, Stewart, and Power. Let’s let Jon do what he does.

We aren't suffering more than others. This is the state of CBB. Whole rosters are disappearing. ( eg Indiana, Baylor and Texas A&M..4 of their players transferred to the SAME school) The best you have is a one-year roster. Houston looks to have done well in this chaos, but all the other teams are jockeying for the transfers, trying to keep players, and seeing declarations. I'm sure glad the players got what they wanted. For long time fans of the sport its a disaster.
Gotta believe the Coaching staff had a good idea about how these dominos were falling. Duke does a great job of playing their cards close to the vest.
The staff has a plan. But this still sucks. I think losing Proctor is huge. Can't replace that experience in the program.
The staff had a plan alright . Who can fit to keep both Boozers . Is it Evans ? Or transfer portal players ?
Odds are Pat & Brown are gone too, joking but not really. Might be just C Fos back.
I liked how Foster mentioned wanting to win a title several times. You just dont hear that much anymore. He could have made bank in the portal as a former 5 star/6th man on a FF team.

Bizarre we didn't get more info this week. We lost 2 weeks ago. They knew Proctor was gone. Why wait til today? Sorry just venting it has been a frustrating week for Duke fans. Just rip off the band aids already.
