FWIW, a lot of restaurants in the NYC area use them. I can tell you their burgers are really good.

"Worth it" is a question only you can answer. The beef is top quality and expensive. If you can't find a local purveyor, and they are few and far between, that can provide the same quality it may be your only option.

Try your local Costco. Some carry prime and Wagyu at reasonable (for what you are buying) prices. They also do mail order.
