This is what Stoops has been saying all yr. He wants an Air Raid offense but right now we can't run it. The personnel just doesn't allow it for this yr. So he has been telling us to run it more.

Hence why Barker has only thrown it 8x and we've ran it 28x. And look at the result.

Stoops wants to run the Air Raid system......but he wants to remain flexible and win now.

Don't think that's necessarily true. Stoops has stated on numerous occasions that he wants to be balanced and more run-oriented in order to have the type of offense that he thinks gives him the best chance to win in the SEC. Stoops has no intentions of running a true "Air Raid" offense. He's actually tried to stay as far away from that label as possible. He wants to be balanced, and the Air Raid offense isn't meant to be.

I don't think stoops knows what our offense is besides offensive...
Can't catch passes. Can't run. Holding on every play. Giving Loserville great field position all half...

He has never said that he wanted to be more "run oriented". He has said that he wants to run the Air Raid offense but one that is more balanced according to the personnel available. He cited Oklahoma State as the example. OSU runs an Air Raid offense.....they throw it 50-60% per yr depending on the personnel they have available. Coincidentally around the time that Stoops hired Brown, Stoops cited OSU's offense from the last few yrs then. Their OC was Dana Holgorson who now runs his Air Raid system at WVU.....and precisely the reason why Stoops hired Dawson.

Right now we can't run the offense that everyone desires....even though we've tried to force it all yr.
