I don't profess to be an expert in football, but it seems that our offense only has about six plays in their playbook; not sure why, but still don't understand why the same plays keep getting called, and the pace of play is very slow. Is this the fault of the OC, a quarterback who seems to have trouble getting the plays called, or both? I have seen better offensive plays watching my 8 year old son play on Saturday mornings..... We seem to now be every other Big 10 team's homecoming opponent.

The problem is they can't even execute the plays they have without making mistakes and incurring penalties. We need balance and the passing game sucks right now.

I study football and no huddle offense a lot. We very well have few plays. Although Scott's play sheet looks to have about the normal amount.

But one of the keys in no huddle is simplification. The play calls must be concise. Some systems have a few plays with the QB having the opportunity to audible into a different play or at least a different tag. An example of a tag would be a change from a RB to pass blocking to run a wheel or a swing pass route. Nebraska doesn't use wrist bands but even then, you can fit only so many plays and calls (tags, audibles) on a wrist band. And I'll add that If I coached, I would want the font fairly large to make it easier to see. Larger font means fewer plays.

No huddle also uses different ways to speed up. One is to call packages of plays ... 1,2,3. With one call. Maybe a color, maybe a city, maybe a country.

I feel like there is to much pre snap movement. We are almost always moving when the ball is snapped.

Frost needs to get young players ready to play or die. Even Saban has changed his philosophy or lose. Throw back shoulder fades all day to huge WR like Manning or lose.

LSU ran 9 routes every play and Burrow threw a great back shoulder fade. One of the greatest offenses ever.
