The thing I hate about the targeting rule is how over-the-top the penalty is compared to other personal fouls. Some POS can dive at the back of a guy's knees who's not even involved in the play, and he might get 15 yards. But a DB gets ejected for that? The rule is what it is, but it doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

The thing that I hate is that this is a CLEARLY a makeup call. Just like the PI.

They didn’t even call it on the field. Now players can get ejected just because Meyer wants them gone? Glad he wasn’t ejected, but Come on now.

If anyone is leading with the helmet it was the Ohio State player. Puts his head down and leads with the crown of his helmet. He’s the one that should be called for targeting.

As much as our defense is porous in coverage (and I am knocking on wood on this comment), our tackling has been better in this game.
