It’s not a good recipe for winning. I hope these two units see the most improvement from week 1 to week 2.

PSU going for it on 4th & 2. Seems to be more about running clock. Beau throws a slant pass and Meiga with the reception for the 1st down. Beau's 1st completion for PSU
I thought the OL looked ok. Singleton and Allen had some good space at times to get down field. Allar had some time to survey the field most of the night. The DTs on the other other hand, got pushed around all night. OSU and Michigan will not ignore that, I’m sure.
I don’t want to get ahead of myself but backup QB Beau Pribula reminds me a little of Trace McSorley.
Pribula runs it in on a keeper from @ 5 yards out, so PSU with a TD with 6 sec left in the game.
Well 38-15 in a game that seemed sloppy at times with plenty to improve on isn't a bad outcome!
OL will get better, and you’re right - they were okay. Just more consistency is necessary. Need to see if some of the young DTs are ready to get some minutes.

Kudos to WVU, I thought they played a solid game, composed, no turnovers. Played better than I thought they would.
In Franklin’s on-field interview immediately after the game, for some reason I laughed out loud at “We’ll get prepared for whoever we’ll play next week.”

Biggest positive tonight IMHO…..the receiving corps showed up and looked good, that seemed to be the biggest concern coming in tonight.

Allar has a cannon, and throws as the receivers make their break. The WRs looked good, and caught most of the passes they should have caught. They'll face stronger Ds later in the season, but it was an encouraging start to the passing game
IMO not so OK because WVa was expected to have a horrible defense.
Allar faced plenty of pressure and our running game was only average tonight.
11 looked good and 3 just need some more time, but both were good pick ups.
Wait, I thought he was in the press box? He got down to the field real fast, you can't coach speed.
