his issues were recruiting and offense. South florida is a hard area to recruit. He tried to be this swagger guy and that isn’t him. He struggled to find an identity on offense and the defense never got his full attention. I think he is a great #2.
You can not ask for a better D coord, but he will get another good HC shot, probably in a couple weeks.

Really? He sure looked like he could compete last year. What happened?
I was never convinced, even last season. I thought he had good speed, but lacked tackle-breaking power and elusiveness. And now this year it’s like— he’s got nothing. Out of gas as a sophomore? Dunno what else to say. I don’t wish the kid any ill, but I can’t imagine what is going through his mind with the struggles he’s had this year.

No one on the PSU radio broadcast had a clue they were reviewing the 3rd down play.

Manny told my friend this summer they had the ponies to make a playoff run on defense ... But the Offense needed a good bit of polishing

They learned from their Indiana mistake on that blitz both times they've run it today -- Dixon sack in the 3rd and now the Winston pick.

If we consider Beau our Moxon, could he lead a team overthrow of Franklin?
