Millen fawning over BG O-line play. Like he's working extra hard to not show favoritism to his alma mater.
We know enough about the state of this program and coach that nobody on this board should be surprised. Disappointed, yes. Surprised, no.

One of the worst halves for a Penn State defense I have ever seen.
Thought that was the right move…however, no reason to take that TO with more than 3 seconds. Shouldn’t give BG a chance at a return (yet somehow they call a fair catch when they hit their shot at it).

Awful, ridiculous and just plays the same scenes over and over from past games … D not tackling, not using time outs wisely, and puckering up on some of the offensive play calling. If this is a playoff caliber team, then effing play and coach like it!! Glad we couldn’t go this week.
A couple more quarters like this and Franklin will be getting another big contract.
This will be very interesting what we witness with the half time adjustments. A first for new DC Tom Allen and JF-choose your poison fix the Run game or your pass rush can’t do both with who we have. BG is getting a great contribution for from their RB..their OC is calling a great game Yo-Yo’in are Defense.
Eh - it’s still a long season. Can’t imagine we lose here but if so the path to the playoff is very tight.
Things should settle down here for PSU in the second half. But next time don’t hire the failed head coach from football powerhouse Indiana.

From one bad half of football? That may prove to be the case, but it's a bit early. I would agree that there is no Natty coming this year- or anytime in the foreseeable future. But top 12 isn't out of reach.
If the committee’s biggest data point is how you played in the first half of your second game, then I agree completely.
Why would they use a TO? It would have given BG time for their offense to have a chance to move the ball.

Move Carter back inside. I think Rojas is hurt and DeLuca just isn't big enough to be the difference in the middle against the run.
Yep. And Allen and Franklin just stood there watching. Why does PSu feel they have to wait for halftime to make adjustments?

Had they gotten a first down but not a TD on that 3rd down play, they'd have had :15 left to do something. And then everyone would have been howling that they left the timeouts on the board.
