Really poor tackling again. Should have been a loss but ends up as a first down.
The D is again allowing the other team to drive down the field. About to give up the lead right before half.

A lot of you are bringing up issues that I see with Tom Allen's defensive coaching.
There's no pass rush, and they're playing soft zone on WRs, allowing them to catch-and-run. Drives me nuts.

PSU d plays like they already went into the locker room. Now is not the time to give up a cheap TD seconds before the half....
Defense can't get to the QB, he has all day to throw
Neither side of the ball is particularly sharp or well prepared.

Where have we seen this before? Coming off of a bye week, another irregular, slow start. It's uncanny how it constantly happens.
So, the bad holding call started the momentum shift. FWIW.
This appears to be another Franklin "crap the bed" effort after a bye-week.
It’s frustrating how this team often beats itself.
Did the holding call allow a receiver to get open in quadruple zone coverage?

Allar looked like a deer in headlights on that series. No composure at all and stood like a tree stump.
That was a frustrating and predictable first half. They made an average Wisconsin team look good.
Well it’s Penn State beating Penn State at the half!
He's missed open guys all night. Missed Warren twice in the middle of the field. Missed Fleming wide open for the first down on that long attempt for Clifford. His vision just hasn't been there.

Of course you do. You’re a negative person. What else are you going to say? PSU had momentum and a first down on the holding call. Instead, they punted a few plays later. It’s a big momentum shift. You see what you want to see. You don’t like Franklin, we get it. Just say it.
