I remember at the 86 Fiesta bowl game a Miami DL taking his helmet off and cracking John Shaeffer on top if his helmet. I saw it but the officials didn't. I couldn't believe it.

Both defenses are playing hard. Which QB will be first to take a few shots down the field?

And then the worst displaying of tackling I've seen by Miami--lucky Becker stepped out but Indiana might kill them now.

We'll see if they can punch this in, but this drive reminds me of Cig's press conference when he was talking about making the other team question themselves.

Not gonna lie- I kinda hope Cignetti gets mad at some point during the game and throws a chair across the field.

Hmm. Miami OL outweighs the Indiana DL by an average of 53 lbs per guy. So, bigger guys don’t automatically equal winning the line of scrimmage?

I don't judge. There is no question I would have done things like that if I was a coach.

To be fair, how many teams had 16 games before?
True--I don't think this is the "most talented" team ever or even close but they get a ton of credit for what it seems like they're about to accomplish.
It's insane because they should have probably lost to us and Ohio State

4 teams have gone 15-0: 2018 Clemson, 2019 LSU, 2022 Georgia, 2023 Michigan (but don't count because they cheated). So it's possible 1 or 2 other teams might have won 16 games if given the opportunity. But 16-0 is rarified air.

I mean, every 12-0 or 13-0 team could have gone 16 if they played more games. Penn State's 94 team being one of them.
If the NCAA counts all 15 wins by Michigan why aren't we?

Correct. That was my point.

More/Many undefeated teams could have won 16 if the chance were given. IU’s success this year is impressive but the 16 game aspect is a bit of grade inflation.

On the other hand, how many times has a ‘college’ team had an average age of the starters being 23 years old?

Correct--whether or not people want to admit it, Indiana bought a title--kudos to them for breaking the code and figure out how to spend Cuban's money wisely.

Why single out IU for NIL? Every team from last year going forward will have bought a title.
