On this level, this Auburn team ranks as good as anyone ever in KenPom. Facts aren’t crying. They are….facts. There’s a lot of crying going on but isn’t from me
It is called great three point line defense. You know, I know that we live by the three point shot. Auburn has the quickness to shutdown our three point shooting. We are just not athletic enough to compete with quick teams unless we are draining three point shots. If we get a really quick mid major in NCAAT and are not able to get set for our three point shots we could be in deep trouble. We just have to recruit better athletes than we currently put on the floor. Spotup shooters that can't create their own shot will always struggle against a more athletic team. Look at Auburn, FL, TN, and Bama, they are more athletic than we are. We wore TN out because both games we shot lights out.
To be honest, they have a massive talent advantage at guard, and one of our best isn’t even playing and another is hurt. This was a big mismatch to begin with.
Quit talking about defeat and think about victory. We're going to kill these bastards in the second half. We're going to cut out Pearl's guts and use them to grease the wheels of our tanks.

I’m just as mad about the phantom foul they called against Carr on the 3-pt shooter. First off the guy kicked his feet (both) out to try and initiate contact, which I thought was an auto foul or tech (don’t remember which) against the shooter. Second, Carr didn’t touch the guy. Just completely awful.
He never actually talks about the game action. Instead, he (along with a few others) just snipes at fellow posters while putting on his plastic badge and cowboy, and reloading his cap gun.
And we're making it easy on them. Almost all the point differential is from TOs. We're playing stupid. And it hasn't gotten better tbh. Between that, Butler obviously not in playing shape, Jax out, it's just hard to feel good about the rest of the year. Four gauranteed games left. That's it man.

I wish it were so. I think they are just better than us. I am not any less excited about what we can do the rest of the year though. I believe in Pope and I believe in the vision he has for the program. Auburn is darn good
He may need a coordinator but he needs more athletic kids that are quick enough to play REAL tight defense. This will take two to three recruiting cycles.
I sure as **** hope so. And i'll take a double helping of crow and eat that bird dry if we do. Just going to take a monster effort.
