I know. But the ACC used to be way better than what we see today .
The Acc is the bottom feeder of the Power 4 financially now thanks to that brilliant tv contract. The private schools like Duke and ND and SMU are better suited to navigate it. UNC will be fine. Maybe Louisville and Syracuse we’ll see. The rest are either football schools in mindset if not performance ( looking at you FSU and Clemson) or don’t have a pot to pee in re Nil (Wake and Bc)

Last year was the worst the ACC has ever been. We had to be near perfect to get a 1 seed.

It’s better this year, but still not how it used to be. If we can win 2 outta 3 between road MSU, TT neutral, Michigan neutral then I feel very confident in our odds to get another 1 seed.

The conference is going to be better. But our non conference schedule has been brutal. So if we beat Michigan St on Saturday, we just don't need to have too many hiccups in conference play. If that's the case, we should be a 1, 2 seed at the lowest. But to get to that, Cam needs help. Consistent help.
Last year hopefully was an anomaly but most years it will be far and away the worst of the Power 4. The Sec and Big 10 have twice the alumni bases and twice the tv money. Most Sec and Big 10 schools are the flagship unis in their respective states. The Acc has two: Unc and Uva.
As far as the schedule as it is, I love these Dec matchups but it is possibly a recipe for peaking too early. At least Louisville is getting better.
When Maryland left that stung. As much as I loathe them, that was another electric home game in conference play that we no longer have.

Louisville is really good, they’re better than Arkansas imo but couldn’t overcome a horrible first half.

Time will tell but I can see Duke, UNC, UVA, Louisville, Miami, and NCSU legitimately getting in and maybe a couple others if things go right for them.
