we made it! I swear these off seasons go by faster every year but that’s ok! I’m always ready for duke basketball. While most teams were playing the sister school of the blind we tip off against the longhorns of Texas in the Dick Vitale Classic.

We look like a 3pt shooting team since the 12 minute mark. Evans and hopefully Harris are really going to open things up inside.

Boozer is looking like a true freshman and no one besides Evans is scoring . I get they are double teaming Cameron but we look completely different than the team that played Tennessee. Texas isn’t even ranked

Duke beat Tennessee ranked 18 , Texas isn’t ranked but man is our offense to predictive at his point.

Another poor first half by the Blue Devils, seems like a pattern so far with this team. Definitely slow out of the gates. Need some second half adjustments

Well, that was a terrible half of basketball, other than the quick run when we went up 9. Lucky that Evans got hot. Cam has been pretty bad. But the entire team hasn't looked good on offense, save for Evans. Defensively, there were too many cheap fouls. It's a long season, and I think this team has a ton of potential. So we shall see what happens.

Khamenia can play, and when in there, made some good passes. Boozer seemed to force it too much, but if we don’t get better play from our point guard, this may happen more than we want.

Let’s see how the boys do in the 2nd half. Jon has shown to be pretty decent at halftime adjustments.

I just don’t know if Duke can make an adjustment. Boozer looks like a true freshman . Not like any top five pick Duke has had in the past . He’s got like 0 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist I mean I know it’s early but Texas is showing how to neutralize him .

Sarr missed that dunk but he is going to get a lot of those opportunities with how long and mobile he is and playing the passing lanes. Need more of that from Foster. Need him to be consistent, not flashes.

Man it felt like we had them on the ropes. I would have held off on making substitutions a little bit longer to see where it went. Texas was having issues scoring on our defense to open against the 2nd half starters.
