This is the kind of SEC foe that we used to be up on by 15-20 at halftime. During those games, I would keep watching just to see bench guys get some playing time (and to preview the studs we would have on the floor in the future).

Now, I am watching a bunch of guys who originally committed to different schools (playing for probably only one year before transferring again) wearing my school's uniform and playing like a bad OVC team.

There is something very wrong here. These players are far better than they are playing. And Pope is a far better coach than he is coaching.

I don’t know what the disconnect is but it’s disconnected.
I’m starting to theorize that several key players are problems. There are too many, maybe 1/3 of the roster, for Pope to deal with or manage without.

Defense is a little better. But Missouri is not a good shooting team. Frankly offensively I think I’d look to push it and get the quickest shot up possible. Tell JQ to bust his *** trying to finish missed shots.

The last defense for the Pope cultists: no coach will want to come here if we fire someone after 2 years.

Translation: we have nothing left in terms of real arguments to defend Pope.
You aren't a "cultist" if you think Pope isn't going anywhere. Ill bet my truck against yours that Pope isn't let go after this season. MB is the one that hired him, he is giving him a 3rd year. All the crying and complaining for Cal and Stoops to go was ignored for years. Pope wont survive a bad third year, but he isn't getting fired this year

We get the worst home whistle I have ever seen. Didn’t expect much with this crew though, 2 UK haters.

There's the fire you all wanted to see. It took one our guys getting fouled 10 times with a no call to pull it out of him.

I know you are capable of considering more possibilities than one. When you are angry, does it nullify your ability to think objectively? Or do you just give in entirely to your bias?
Do you get off on being condescending to other posters, while acting like you're the most objective person on the message board?

You talking down to posters like they're children is not going accelerate any conversations.
