It’s as if a coaches ability to install any type of offensively innovative or productive system is sucked from their brains after a short period of time as Kentuckys coach. Tubbys teams at Tulsa and Georgia were pretty high octane offenses, and slowly we got plow ball specials night after night. Same with Cal at UMass and Memphis, then the nightly rock fights at UK he grew to love. Now this with Pope. Pitino seemed to be the only one immune to it.
I am watching but don't even care if we lose. I hate feeling that way. Pope has to get the boot.

No movement, no screens, no urgency...just four dudes passing it around the parameter and one dude bumping a guy under the basket hoping for a pass until someone notices the clock shot is running out and makes a terrible, contested shot attempt.
At the same time.. these transfers were almost unanimously ranked high by all outlets and pundits.. so its not like they didnt perform well at their past schools. This might just be that last years team basically coached themselves or had enough experience they could win games on their own, and Pope really just cant coach.

This is game 15 and our offense can't be worse. It’s every man for himself and when each guy can't do anything, they finally pass it.
