I have to say I’ve never seen such a bad play for a game tying shot. I mean Lowe is the shortest guy on the floor and was covered up and still forced an air ball. Mental breakdowns all night on the players and coach.

His coaching the last 5 was awful. That last shot was horrendous and Lowe taking it was unfathomable. None of our shooters got the shot??? That is a choke of epic porportions.
No toughness or smarts to finish them off with a 8 point lead.

BCG wasn’t given 22 million dollars for a roster. That's going to matter here.
Keep in mind, he's missed out on all his recruiting targets too, the situation is getting worse by the game.
It may be a lot of things that made us lose but it sure as hell was not injuries. We have worn that excuse out. It is poor coaching and a team that can't shoot and can't play defense. Most of the players could not consistently guard a fence post.
He’s terrible and this team sucks. That’s why they lost.

Or maybe Pope drew up a decent play and JLow went off script and chunked up that bs just like he did a few minutes before when he killed any momentum we had. Hes my least favorite pg at Kentucky ever.

We all have to sit down in a large circle and play duck duck goose. The person who gets chosen needs to look introspectively and find out why we are playing like we are. After we sing kumbaya in the locker room we can move forward as a team and figure this thing out. We all understand the assignment, we just don’t have the answers right now. It’s early and this team is still learning guys.
He should be fired anyway I don’t care who he sends out.

If I thought for even one second that a legit coach would be hired, like say Pearl, I would jump on that in a heartbeat. But it won't.
Missouri is a pretty good team. We had our chances and couldn’t pull away on our own floor! This is the worst UK team I’ve seen in 50 years.
He may very well have done that. JL killed us down the stretch but we got nobody else to play PG. OO was wide open to his left. We're just a bad team unfortunately with a coach that has no answers.

Pope ain't Cal. Cal won a title and was a God here for many years, he has bigtime accomplishments at UK.

I do though. And he is a problem. Not the only problem, but trying use him as your go to/main guy is a problem. He isn't that. We need better offense and he has about the worst offensive efficiency numbers in the team.

It should matter but no one said that Mitch Barnhart is a logical person. He made an emotional hire with Pope. It’ll take cold, hard numbers ($$$) that boosters are going to use to get us out of this madness.

Oweh was by far our best player tonight. Several players made mistakes late, Oweh wasn’t one of them.
