You watching the same game? When you get it in the redzone 3 times on your first 3 drives, and come away with 9 points....I wouldn't call that "good".
And I like Gibson, but our CB replacing Worley is getting abused. They may need to call the cops....
I said he was coaching a good game. I didn't say great. With that said, the game plan seems solid. It is the execution inside the red zone that is killing us. As usual, our QB can throw the deep ball but lacks in many other areas, which really hurts us inside the 20, and on third downs. Yes, our CB replacement for Worley is struggling, likely the reason he was not starting to begin with. Holgorsens main problem continues to be his inability to develop a true QB for his system.

so special teams turned that td into a net gain of 1 point...i'd hate to be in the locker room at half time
Well I've seen enough of the refs and of special teams. The only lucky break we got in the first half was that deflected pass. Skyler is going to have to deliver some passes and loosen up the running game.
Hopefully in our favor... Graham seems to think he's got us right where he wants us with adjustments.
Cmon man, you have to at least be fair. I am in no way a fan of how Holgorsen has performed as our HC to date, but it was not his fault the extra point was blocked or that the kickoff did not go where he wanted it to go. He did not plan to kick the ball where it went. What is his fault is not seeing that Smallwood should be the RB, period.:uziAMN, Holgorsen is screwing us again! He flat out GAVE them that FG attempt. I hate his freaking guts! We are pissed here in the stadium
If I'm ASU I'm continuing 8 in the box and blitzing nearly every play. I'd make Howard hit that short to medium pass.
We should have been off the field after that first 3rd down but Henry missed the tackle on that short pass to the RB in the flat and it gave ASU a first down.
So we go from a 2nd and 2 to a 3rd and 5 on a busted pass play that instead of throwing it out of bounds we force it to a screen for a loss......smart........
good job by howard to hang in the pocket on that one...he's done a good job of moving around in the pocket too. can't even think right with all of this screaming going on
