You are aware that not every run play is a read? Whenever Howard has been asked to read the defensive end to decide whether to hand off on the RB stretch to the boundary vs keeping the ball himself and taking it inside, he has made the wrong read. Seriously, what is with some people on this board not willing to accept even warranted criticism against a player or coach?
no, you know exactly what I was referring to..we are tied at the half..yet it looked like we were the superior team..with the exception of the score..
Fact is our offense is sputtering because of these two things:
1. Our QB isn't very good
2. Our offensive play calling is less than average. We have dominated them on the ground, yet we continue to let a TURNOVER MACHINE at QB throw the ball down the field. Until they stop the run, why throw it down the field?

sometimes perception is reality..but no..we aren't, and I'm sure you'll get over it in time.
It's not that he is throwing it. It's WHEN he is throwing it. When we are ripping 10 yards a carry, and there is no signs of TT making adjustments, that's when he throws it. No doubt he'll say something about "balanced offense" or something.
Dana is an offensive genius....he's geniusly offensive to those that actually know how to manage play calling

Well, those 3 points are all on Holgorsen's playcalling. Could have been 4 points worse.
