This is going to be the standard "8 min" in second half win from the look so far. (Platoon Effect) If things are tight at the 4 min mark, all bets are off and then it all comes down to the way the ball rolls (aka LSU and A&M)

I don't understand why the short term memory effect of the Platoons does not translate into a faster start for us in games. All they have to do is kick azz in 5 min increments and the next group starts 0-0.

Gators would never get a shot off if they'd call Carter for carrying the ball! EVERY TIME he dribbles it, he starts w/ his hand UNDER the ball!! Not to mention, he can't dribble near anyone with the stiff-arm!!!

I was thinking the same thing. Other guy isn't much better, saying Dakari could have been called for a foul when he got tripped.
Johnson not only got tripped but Carter or whoever the UF player was pushed him also and a ref watching the whole thing

Andrew playing well but our offense just isnt that explosive with him being the primary scorer.

I know it wont happen but we need to ZONE UP . BUT if the best D team in the country cant properly guard the ball , I mean on ball D , then we need to zone up . They are picking us to death ! Oh well . We will do what we do , but I'm afraid one night that isnt going to be good enough .

This is a game of execution and gameplan against superior talent. Glad florida doesn't have better talent.

Still, it's a four point lead. I'll take it. Maybe we need to get acclimated to the tournament feel again, and for the first time - for our freshmen. Let's see if we can wear down the Gators some more in the second half and pull away like the last time. Surely we will. I suppose that's the general line of thinking for most of us.

Something about this team makes me more relaxed in thinking about some of the old time reservations I usually get, things like playing teams for a third time and how hard it is to beat them three times in a season, etc. It's just that this team seems to have mitigated a lot of the things I used to fret about. Somehow, I'm just not as uptight or concerned as I used to be.

Maybe that's what 31-0 does to an old fart like me?
I've been having much the same feeling, but then I'm getting up there a bit too.

A) I'll never fault someone for hustling
B) I think it was going to be out off us anyway, so no...
By the time the ball had connected out of bound the clock (or almost all of it) would have expired. So yes.
Maybe. I'm not going to go back and look at the replay. I'll take your word for it.

One thing about hill, I get sag off of him, but u want ball pressure, their going to screen if you sag off of him u make the shooters more dangerous like Carter, Frazier, and Finney-Smith, if you watch him almost every time he pushes off before he drives, knocks Luis or Harrison off balance

Booker has got little confidence in his shot. We really need him for the tournament.

UK's inability to hit open 3's is starting to be an issue.

If UK hit 2 of these misses we'd be up 10 now. 3 point shooting matters.

don't focus on 1 thing.

Quicker defensive rotation with no "hesitation" could mean we would be up 15 points.

We missed some close call, and made some bad decision.

I never like focusing on one aspect of the game. But right now, i feel like our defense is the biggest issue.

Of course people should remember Kasey Hill was a 5* Prospect so, not many will be that good, quick, and strong.

At what point does Cal swallow his pride and go zone for a couple possessions? Seems fairly obvious.
