Great win. So happy to see Foster step up. Boozer unstoppable when he doesn't get double teamed.
Cam is one of those players that really hates to lose. He was more excited about Pat’s block than his own play. He knew that play clinched the game.
Exactly my thoughts.
But, he is without a doubt getting better. He’ll he even made 3 straight FTs.
Another composed win after being behind down the stretch. This team likes to win and I do too! lol
Isiah does need to start showing up for big games. Cam cannot do this all year. So happy for the win but that boy is absolutely putting the whole team on his back!

We needed all 35 of Cam’s points. He’s something else. But Foster, who’s been rightfully ridiculed over his career, played solid tonight. The kid had 15 points and 8 assists.
He hit some big shots down the stretch.
We watched this team grow up tonight. Big-time grown men win.
Foster came through. You need upperclassman. Good win. Boozer needs some help, but great season so far.
Foster is a bit of a roller coaster, but he did enough to get us over the hump tonight. Hope this 2nd half is a stepping stone for his Duke career.

I agree. Saw on Twitter that Nik was a +18. Are our slow starts because of Sarr? When Nik comes in he gives us an energy boost and does all the little things. Reminds me of Kon a bit without Kon's shooting.

Good call lol. Played out exactly the opposite. We 100% out toughed Arkansas in the 2nd half!
Just to add to my praise for Foster last night, he made his best play that I can recall ever when he drove right and fed Cam for the dunk.
Almost always when he drives it results in a miss or a turnover.
He’s winning me over and if his current play continues this team is just going to continue to improve,

Duke will need both Sarr and Khamenia Tuesday night and the front court to help out
If Foster plays like that we will win. Florida has a good frontcourt.

Very Happy for Foster. A lot of Duke fans have been critical of him. He got injured towards the end of his freshman season when he was playing well, had surgery in the off season going into his sophomore season, he started as a Sophomore and lost his job to Sion. Foster didn't run away from the grind, he Bet on Himself, put in the work, and returned for his Junior Season at Duke to be one of the Leaders. I met Foster and his parents after the game in Notre Dame in 2024. Very Nice People, Caleb is a Humble and Great Kid!! He signed my #1 Duke Jersey. I hope Foster Continues to Prove the doubters wrong!!!
Caleb has shown he has that dog in him throughout his career. The games that come to mind for me are:
Freshman Season: Champions Classic against Michigan State & Neutral Site Game against Baylor. As previously stated, he was playing well and starting a few games before he got hurt. Roach and Proctor were struggling in the early part of the 2023-2024 season.
Sophomore Season: @ North Carolina, the ACC Tournament, and the NCAA Tournament.
Junior Season (so far): Texas & Arkansas.
People are quick to ignore he got injured and had surgery. For those of you who have gotten injured before and gone through physical therapy or gone under the knife, you should know it takes a while to get your body back to the level of what it was before the injury.
Duke Passed Test #1 on Thursday Night against a Physical and Tough Team. Duke will have two more Tough, Physical, and Big Opponents this week. Both Florida and Michigan State are Well Coached.

Florida feels like a game Maliq will need to put his fingerprints all over. He’s going to be a major factor.

All 3 of our bigs are going to have their hands full against Florida. Of course, they have to guard ours too. Staying out of foul trouble is the key.
I agree with Mac . They can match our front court and maybe even a little more physical . We need Sarr and Harris and Cayden to turn it up because I do think our back court is stronger . Got to guard the overseas shooter when he gets in . He’s like Evans when he starts shooting .
Yep, I’m afraid the rotation is basically 8. I hate Harris hasn’t shown enough to earn more pt.
Same here. If I was him,I would be thinking I would play 10-15 minutes a game this season being the backup SG whenever Evans needed a break. Now it seems he's a backup to Foster whenever Cayden comes in to play PG which then moves Foster to SG. If he doesn't get his minutes, wouldn't surprise me if he's gone next year since there's a good chance we get Smith. My guess world be Nik or Sarr would probably be the Small forwards next year if they come back.
I think Nik comes back. It feels like Sarr already has one foot out the door. I hope I’m wrong about Sarr.
Sarr is going to have to show out at some point to get drafted next year. Length is nice but he's not 7 feet. You have to show something skill wise. Right now he seems to be pressing. We have seen these things change quickly, but he looks so raw right now. Which would be fine if he was a multi year guy.

Sarr really hurt us last game. But how does it feel like Sarr already has one foot out the door? I know he’s on draft boards, but he seems bought in.
Sarr’s game is more NBA than college . The transition was always going to be different for him then the freshman who came from high school. He over thanks to many plays and for all his hype about being a skilled passer I count atleast five times he should have passed the ball off instead he goes for a missed layup/dunk or a turn over . It’s early and a lot of season left but imo, yes he’s gone after this season and if Harris don’t get much time this season he’s gone too, to the portal . I think the Arkansas game the guards were just much more athletic and harder for Harris to guard plus Khamenia was playing good defense . Harris will get minutes , what he does with them is up to him .
