Duke needs more from the bench but that will come
I love Foster and then I don’t like Foster and then I like him again. If he can PLEASE stop the brain farts then we are in there!
We needed all 35 of Cam’s points. He’s something else. But Foster, who’s been rightfully ridiculed over his career, played solid tonight. The kid had 15 points and 8 assists. If we get solid guard play from here on in, I think we will win.
I think Nik showed it should be him tonight.Florida Tuesday.
Does Nik or Sarr start that game?
I agree. Saw on Twitter that Nik was a +18. Are our slow starts because of Sarr? When Nik comes in he gives us an energy boost and does all the little things. Reminds me of Kon a bit without Kon's shooting.I think Nik showed it should be him tonight.
Good call lol. Played out exactly the opposite. We 100% out toughed Arkansas in the 2nd half! This team is seriously missing upper classmen strength and stability. Soft and shooting, other than Slim who is off today, is atrocious. Soooo many missed 3s.
The Hogs are just so much stronger on the ball, out working and out hustling Duke
AgreeJust to add to my praise for Foster last night, he made his best play that I can recall ever when he drove right and fed Cam for the dunk.
Almost always when he drives it results in a miss or a turnover.
He’s winning me over and if his current play continues this team is just going to continue to improve,
And guys, he ain’t coming off the bench, he’s a starter.
I agree with Mac . They can match our front court and maybe even a little more physical . We need Sarr and Harris and Cayden to turn it up because I do think our back court is stronger . Got to guard the overseas shooter when he gets in . He’s like Evans when he starts shooting .All 3 of our bigs are going to have their hands full against Florida. Of course, they have to guard ours too. Staying out of foul trouble is the key.
Yep, I’m afraid the rotation is basically 8. I hate Harris hasn’t shown enough to earn more pt.Harris won’t play enough minutes to matter….
Same here. If I was him,I would be thinking I would play 10-15 minutes a game this season being the backup SG whenever Evans needed a break. Now it seems he's a backup to Foster whenever Cayden comes in to play PG which then moves Foster to SG. If he doesn't get his minutes, wouldn't surprise me if he's gone next year since there's a good chance we get Smith. My guess world be Nik or Sarr would probably be the Small forwards next year if they come back.Yep, I’m afraid the rotation is basically 8. I hate Harris hasn’t shown enough to earn more pt.
I think Nik comes back. It feels like Sarr already has one foot out the door. I hope I’m wrong about Sarr.Same here. Sarr is not ready at all.I think Nik comes back. It feels like Sarr already has one foot out the door. I hope I’m wrong about Sarr.
Sarr really hurt us last game. But how does it feel like Sarr already has one foot out the door? I know he’s on draft boards, but he seems bought in.I think Nik comes back. It feels like Sarr already has one foot out the door. I hope I’m wrong about Sarr.
