Hoping and expecting us to cruise to an easy win, but BC has nothing to lose, so anything is possible. I would like to see us build a 20 point lead early in the second half, play the bench, and no injuries please leading into the weekend.

This has been one horrible half of basketball by both teams. High school kids score more points.
Honestly I just think he’s in over his head. He’s not talented or athletic enough for this level.

Why? Because he gets three minutes a game you think his three is going to just fall when he’s not being looked for behind the arch ? I mean Duke had one made field goal in 11 minutes with their starters in so what happened to Evan’s three?
Not a great second half on the offensive side, but defense is playing really well.
This team is 21-1 so it’s hard to be critical.

We can speculate whether he’s getting enough minutes or not. When he’s in, it looks like he presses, knowing if he misses, he’s out. Which isn’t a good recipe for success. Just my opinion.
Damn that was an ugly second half. I blame it on those ugly yellow shoes.
This is a good example of looking passed a team in the 2nd half. Simple as that- not a good thing but it’s a human thing
But when he gets in he does play his a&$ off. The kid missed a shot and got his rebound and put it back in for two . Out side of defense what exactly have Khamenia or Sarr done on the offensive end? I mean Sarr is good for a turn over on 1 of 3 lay ups so would you say he’s pressing on offense ? Saying the kid should go to William and Mary yet Scheyer wanted him back for a reason is a little overboard. He’s a bench player, last guard off the bench or player before the walk ons . I remember some saying he wouldn’t even get nothing but mop up minutes.
I’m not arguing his minutes I’m simply saying how one can ask about his shot and say he should go to William and Mary when he’s not averaging ten minutes a game . He’s doing what the coaches expect of him when he’s in the game .
Eh play better Saturday. As for Harris it seems every year we have a guy who scorches the nets in scrimmages only to brick it under the bright lights.

Sarr 3 point shot has regressed a bunch. At one time he was shooting nearly 50% on corner 3's. Now he can't make anything. But lately our overall 3 point shooting been terrible
If he had an all american twin, he’d be getting 18 mpg and give us more than Cayden. Unfortunately, we’re stuck with a guy that gets his minutes who can’t defend and completely shrinks the floor for our bigs. If I were him I’d leave tomorrow.
Harris 100% gone end of year.. I don’t like it but it’s the best for him
Very weak second half on offense, but I do think defensively we held up. It did seem like the entire team was lethargic in the second, and maybe it was the effects of the flu. A better team could have taken advantage of that, but BC was not that.
It should be a fun game Saturday. I think we need a solid performance from our guards to win. Foster has been around the ACC for a few years, he should be UP for this game!

^ nicely put shey! Every season this board has posters who tend to go overboard with their negativity towards the Blue Devils from Derek Lively II to Flip to Proctor to Foster to Harris. I'm glad the aforementioned Blue Devils are mentally strong enough to not allow their critics to influence them to run from the grind. Scheyer has been a Successful Coach so I will Trust his Judgement. Also, statistically Harris is one of Duke's better 3 Point Shooters along with Evans, Cameron, and Foster.
Why is everyone scared of unc all of a sudden? I understand they are Duke's rivals, but unc couldn't stop paint from drying when it comes to playing defense. Vasheer, Trimble, Dixon, and Wilson are all solid, the rest of them are nothing to hang your hat on. The cheats about blew their 30 point lead at home against Syracuse. I hope Duke full court presses unc on Saturday night.
The thing I observed last night is Duke tends to go on their scoring droughts when Cameron is getting rest. Hopefully the Duke Coaching Staff incorporates some offensive sets to run for the stretches when Cameron is on the bench getting his breathers.
