Kind of amazing to me that some are talking a bit snarky how good we look playing such a bad team, when all year we’ve griped about looking bad against bad teams

Yeah, I enjoyed the performance. But I know LSU is BAD. Just enjoying it for what it is.

One of the things I like to do is see how we did against our opponent compared to what other teams did vs them.

We had the 3rd best offensive efficiency game against LSU.
We also held them to their worst game on offense all season long. So another good defensive performance.
It's our only 100 gamescore this season in Barttorvik.

Sure. They aren't good. But they played the likes of Alabama, Auburn, Florida.....etc etc.

And yet.....we put up better numbers than they did vs them.

Obviously one game, grain of salt. But I think if you consistently do that, we are putting ourselves in a good position for the conference and NCAA tournaments.

Poor Perry…he’s a defensive liability the minute he steps on the floor. Basically every team just clears out and lets his man score at will unless UK helps and leaves someone else wide open.

Until he can play even a minute of defense, he can’t be on the floor. I think he could be ok on offense, but net he’s a big negative.

great senior night !

Despite it all, we are a tough, battle tested team with a next man up mentality. I trust Coach Pope.

( and it was nice to outright win the contest for the game tonight. Shout out to old red running it ! Bout' time this year ! )

Sadly with Robinson out and a bunch of other guys that also tend to struggle defensively, we might have to just live with it.

20 wins on the season. Pretty solid for a crew that hadn't even seen each other before about 2 months before tip off.

Your point for sharing this?
If you have been reading lately, this year my medical condition makes it hard for me to watch live game action. I have been watching the games after knowing the score or not watching the really bad games. I have a condition that is like having a stroke over and over again since 2006 day after christmas. Some years I can work through the stress and not have too many issues. This year though it has caused some severe spells and has caused me to miss work the next day. So I had to make the decision to not watch or listen, check in here to see how things are going. Tonight I was able to see about a total of 8 minutes of game action live. I have taken off each year for the Thursday / Friday start on NCAA tourney to enjoy with my brother. I doubt that happens this year. I have trouble watching games that are no KENTUCKY. So i was just happy to see live game action. That is all. Was not any kind of point at all.
