"It’s becoming clearer that many of President Trump’s supporters are realizing how badly they’re getting shafted by his big budget bill and other leading initiatives. Senator Mitch McConnell just privately admitted that many Republicans are getting major blowback from their “people back home” about the bill’s deep Medicaid cuts, adding that “they’ll get over it.”

A stunning Fox News poll just found that a majority of white men without a college degree oppose the bill. Crucially, these voters make up “the heart of Trump’s base.” Even Trump’s own pollster just bluntly suggested that Trump voters are feeling betrayed. On top of all that, Trump supporters again and again have been horrified to learn that his deportations are victimizing immigrants they like. And the tariffs are already hurting Trump country. So how badly are his working-class voters getting hit? To find out, we talked to economist Jared Bernstein, who paints a dark picture of the impact they’re feeling from all these policies taken together. Add it all up, Bernstein concludes, and the Trump-GOP lack of concern as their voters learn they’re taking it on the chin is “mind-boggling.”

A lot of these folks simply were not going to vote for Harris. Period. And that's fine.

They voted for Trump thinking that was the best choice for them. Again, that's fine.

Bitching about it down the road. Not so fine. Like Trump or not... And as you know, I'm in the NOT group, he's doing mostly what he said he would do. Quit your bitching. Trump got what he wanted... your vote. Now he doesn't need you so under the bus you go. This shouldn't surprise anyone. Standard Trump tactics. Again, this bitching doesn't really bother me... it's just sour grapes... They voted for a policy but didn't think it would come back on THEM.

The only part that DOES bother me a little is knowing that 90% of these folks doing the bitching (and this would be the same if a Dem were in office) are going to walk into the voting booth in 2026 and vote the same way they did in 2024. And THEN they'll ***** again. As usual, it's that tiny sliver of Independents and swing voters that decide things, not these whiners.

Harris was the worst Presidential Candidate in United States history. She was dumber than a box of chardonnay.

Until the democrats pivot to the middle, they will lose.

They have such a sickness when it comes to "owning the libs". It's mindboggling how stupid they are and how willing they are to cut off their noses to spite their own faces.

It doesn't get any more maga than letting your children die over partisan politics. I fear the damage Trump has done to this country may be irreparable.
