Look they are a better match up then Maryland, Purdue, Cal or any of the other teams they could have slotted Duke against. I don't see how you can't look at that bracket and be satisfied.

Overall I think that's a great bracket for Duke. That said, our room for error is still small. Losing early is a distinct possibility.

hmm...guard orientated UNCW team - top 3 scorers are guards, fast paced..sounds a little like VCU. Any one seen them play this year? They won their conference but didnt really play any one out of conference to get an idea.

Obviously, any game is a game we can lose. However, we have the best coach in the country, and that makes up for a lot of disadvantages. I remember when our shockingly unathletic team beat Baylor and West Virginia. We weren't supposed to stand a chance in those games.

It's my opinion that we will make the Sweet 16. I think if we do we can beat Oregon. I believe in the fight of this team and that our coach can get us there.

Let's get to work kids.

Not disappointed with our draw! I think we can do some damage. I think we can handle Wilmington & Baylor if we are shooting good! With almost a week to prepare for Oregon, I think we could give them a fit too! We need three scorer's to win, so if Luke can find his stroke, we have a shot! GO DUKE!!!!

Duke is better equipped to handle guards than bigs this year.

Well hope those Tar Heels enjoy winning the conference cuz they ain't going to survive a sweet 16 of IU or UK and then elite 8 of WVU

Providence is a potential tough game too....and West Virginia as the #3 seed is the kind of team that could give them fits.

Was hoping Izzo would be 2 seed in East but maybe Kentucky or Hoosiers will give Tarheels a good game.
Not sure how good Xavier is. West Virginia has no chance to beat UNC.

I wouldn't mind seeing a run like the 1994 team. I don't remember that seed though..was it a 2?

Anyways until we lost to Arkansas in the NC K really navigated that team thru and I thought that was a pretty remarkable run.

That said Ingram is the X factor..id like to see that kid make a historic tournament run.

We were a two. Beat Purdue and Glenn Robinson in the Elite Eight. A lot of boards had UNC and Purdue as the favorites that season....neither made the Final Four. In fact, Arkansas was the only #1 seed to make it to the Final Four in Charlotte.

UVA has to get through MSU in order to get to a Final Four AGAIN. I'm sure Bennett is seeing Izzo in his nightmares.

I don't know. I'm very concerned about that Baylor matchup in the second round. They have a lot of front court depth that might be too much for Duke to handle. Hopefully they get upset like last year.

just don't know what to expect from this team. the lack of a true PG really bothers me and the way we wind down games with turnovers and bad shot selection...

anyway, only a few weeks 'till opening day.

Jay how the Twinkies looking this year? The Cards can't even get out of spring training without serious injury!

Just checked THR, I'm shocked they don't have a thread up about Duke having the easiest 4 seed to the Final Four! I see them flaming out Sweet 16 or at worse Elite 8.
