Got to bludgeon those guys to death in the first 5 minutes of the second half, otherwise they're going to have a lot of confidence.
Should be easily up double figures.
Hard argument o say who has played the worst .. Amari , Butler or Brea . but Butler is trying to play injured . Just frustrating as a whole . Perry gave us nothing . Garrison very little other 2 horrible 3 attempts . I'm just worried the way they sling threes , and our lack of urgency guarding them , they make 3-4 in a row and bang .. its tied with 4 to go .

We can get Inside anytime we want on this team. Maybe keep attacking and open up some better looks from 3 and makes n 2nd half.
Butler hasn't looked "good" to me at all despite the talk leading up to this game. Hope he saves one more good performance for Sunday if we advance.

I’m happy with the lead but not with how we are playing. We are not playing with any urgency and if it doesn’t change it will go down to the wire.
Man, they had to be holding onto Brea on that offensive rebound by Troy. The ball hit the floor right beside him. He didn’t even budge to get it.
At this point, all we need from Butler is to get us into our offense.

I’m just hoping to win this game. Because playing like this one game will be the limit. I don’t understand the lack of effort and stop the stupid high risk passes.

I’d love to come out of halftime and go on about a 16-4 run. Play smart, run our stuff, and rebound. Don’t make dumb mistakes and play solid defense and we win this. Survive and advance guys! He is rebounding well but turned the ball over a few times , and has missed 2 FT's and missed a few bunnies .. playing against a much smaller team where no one can challenge him
Kentucky only took 10 threes in the first half. That's not a good sign. Our whole scheme is built on three-point shooting.
kenny smith is right. they’ve taken 6 more 3’s and 3 total more shots. rebounds are even. that needs to be in our favor.

Cut the turnovers down and get a few offensive rebounds. Troy is +3 in offensive rebounds+opponent turnovers. Even out/win the possession game in the second, and we should dominate.

Frankly, I'm amazed they're up 8 at halftime. That was not a good half of basketball for Kentucky, but .... we're leading.

Assuming we win this one, I’d be shocked if we keep it within 8 points in round 2 playing like this. Butler just doesn’t have the finishing ability and that limits us pretty dramatically
I counted a number of them on Amari alone. WTH is he not following misses? Even BG should be doing that, he has hops.
Why not work to get Carr the ball down low? Get Oweh going downhill. We seem to be walking through this game. Would like a little emotion and energy.
