You could tell Butler was happy to be apart of Coach Pope's First tournament win!

Love this team, it’s been a fun year and exciting to watch, if they were healthy they would make a lot of noise in this tournament. Great to see them all smiles and cheering for each other before, during and after the game. You can tell they genuinely like each other and get along and they seem to love Pope. UK has a great future under Pope, hope Chandler and Owen stick around, so much fun to watch. Chandler will be a scoring beast moving forward, especially under Popes offense.
I don't think turning the ball over 10 times to Troy and jacking up a lot bad 3s was a good game plan. A good game plan would have been one that pounded the ball under the basket. But I guess they may not have worked because Williams wouldn't jump even when he got the ball down low. His last miss under the basket was probably the most embarrassing one.

Butler did what we needed from him. However, my heart missed a beat when he drove the ball into the lane. I was hoping we would not get taken down.
He had some turnovers, but he steadied our ball handling. Having him play 20+ minutes is much better handling lineup on average than relying on Chandler/Perry with those minutes.
I think the team and coach felt the pressure much more than they wanted to admit.
