no way tournament refs would have let those last two steals go without a whistle. we helped them but let’s be honest, the refs gifted them. when you’re up and have the ball everyone knows the other team will be reaching and grabbing and our sec refs absolutely swallowed the whistle.

You’re absolutely right, half the time the blow the whistle as soon as someone gets near a guy in obvious foul situations.
I was livid when we went down 1 but I remember thinking the Oklahoma players were celebrating an awful lot with the game still on the line. They were acting like they had the game won already.
