Oregon 49 RUTGERS 17
I didn't bother to open the thread suggesting a redshirt Freshman QB with no experience should play over one of the best performing QBs in the country. But now you put it in front of me. Newsflash - if the rest of the team was performing at AKs level, we'd be 6-0. We'll lose tomorrow but it will be because our defense stinks.Based on reading our threads, Gregs makes the smart move and benches AK and starts Surace. He does this with the disclaimer that if Surace improves our RZ offense and we are ahead by enough points, he may try to get AK a few snaps late in the 4th qtr.
With this bold and brilliant move - Rutgers scores on 6 of 6 RZ visits and shocks Oregon 52-21. Rutgers fans feel that this win is not a statement as Oregon is obviously a bad team and it proves nothing.
Or we stick with a declining AK and lose the game 38-28
I’m glad you like to use Greg’s terminology “keep chopping”Prediction: after the game Grifter Greg moves the goalposts again, boasting to his legion of lemmings that he went 1-0 getting his team to the game on time, reminding that he is in fact undefeated in that measure even against Top 10 teams.
Shelby’s sources provided him Grifter’s scripted post game press conference talk for next week’s Purdue loss. In it he hints at the difficult Ross-Ade atmosphere, saying “the hundred fans in attendance were very loud and disruptive, great job by them. We need to do better, and we’ll Keep Choppin”.
don't know how I was so laz as to not have him ignored by now.. but that has been remediedI’m glad you like to use Greg’s terminology “keep chopping”
Isn’t it about time you use your own team’s mantra- “keep shoveling”
Maybe try - 'best case scenario' or 'wishful thinking prediction'. How about a, 'assuming we win, what would the score be' thread.Maybe we should rename the thread The OFFICIAL Oregon Hand-Wringing thread
That would be an exercise in futility.Maybe try - 'best case scenario' or 'wishful thinking prediction'. How about a, 'assuming we win, what would the score be' thread.
and the benefit of a prediction thread on an unranked team with a 3 game losing streak facing a top ten team is ? Anything is possible. It's a rational exercise in optimism - focusing on the most likely of the unlikely scenarios. That would be an exercise in futility.
I do worry about our defense. But looking closer at Oregon - they are not the juggernaut they usually are. In conference, they average 28 points(which includes a 2OT game) and give up 22. They did play Indiana and PSU but not sure how good PSU really is.Based on reading our threads, Gregs makes the smart move and benches AK and starts Surace.
