D for Peterson, C- for Bailey, B for Kueter, and A for everyone else. Some good wrestling tonight. Good wrestling is so fun to watch; lazy wrestling is so frustrating to watch. On to Iowa State.
B for Keuter? Honest question. Why? If he wasn’t a hawk the entire board would be talking about how he should have been hit with stalling and never took anything that resembled a shot. He is a 240 lb HW that doesn’t even try to get to the legs.

Looks like Massoma Endene is liking his time in Iowa City so far. Great to see him get mobbed by his teammates coming off the mat.

Stout is damn good, and Mo hung tough the whole way. Stout did a great job keeping that ankle on the first takedown, almost got it again later but Mo did a great job spinning out if it. Awesome work from both guys.

I thought for a second Mo was gonna get a stall call against him in the 3rd, Stout was taking all the shots. But Mo stayed in there and was somehow able to finish on the edge for the W! Not sure how he pulled that off, but he got it done.

Stout wrestled really well, was by far more active on their feet. Tough loss for him, but hats off too. Crazy Mo pulled it off, but he never quit. Great job both guys.

BK is warner 2.0. He wins, he’s likely going to be solid in march because he can ride the whole period. But my god is it boring.
As he heals, he’ll get stronger and stronger. I don’t care what age you are surgeries take a toll on your body. If my memory is correct, I don’t believe Warner had any major surgeries in college. I’m curious if Ben can change levels fluently right now with his hip.

I actually was surprised Stout didn't get a stall call the last minute, constantly backing up and hanging on the edge.

IIRC his knee was in rough shape senior year. He really gutted out an AA. Yeah I know everyone is dinged up by March. He was dealing w more than the usual senior year. Agree Kueter should get better as the year progresses.
