As he heals, he’ll get stronger and stronger. I don’t care what age you are surgeries take a toll on your body. If my memory is correct, I don’t believe Warner had any major surgeries in college. I’m curious if Ben can change levels fluently right now with his hip.
We didn’t even think he would be back at the beginning of the season.

I actually was surprised Stout didn't get a stall call the last minute, constantly backing up and hanging on the edge.
Well, he put in most of the work during the match. Surely should have bought him some grace later on, and he wasn't close to running IMO (even if he was, that's smart at that time). Besides 1 stall call was meaningless to him at that point.

I think the last sequence that scored, was Mo's only legit offense of the match. Not that he didn't hang in there and fight, he did, but he was outshot by a wide margin on legit attempts. Stout was clearly the more active guy throughout. But try as he might, Stout couldn't increase his lead, and it wasn't a big enough lead for one bad thing to happen, and Mo made it happen fortunately.

I think EM earned the award outright. He beat the #4 kid tonight.

I'm always confused on the stalling calls. I thought it was more about holding center and engaging. I thought Mo definitely did that, especially in the last minute.
The real reason I'm confused is because there is zero consistency on how it's called. Lol

Fair. I just think when a guy puts in a great deal of work early and often in a match, he gets the benefit of the doubt later in the match. Stout did that without a doubt.

Mo's great defense got him out of a very tight spot on a really nice shot when Stout had his ankle, again. That sequence ended up costing Stout the match, cause that baby was over if he converts there.

Stout outwrestled Mo IMO, but he didn't win so it doesn't matter. 🙂 Big Mo stole one by hanging tough, and I'm damn happy for him.

You don’t think they face each other in the room? Like regularly?
Drilling with some live goes is different than a full live match with a lot on the line. I'm not convinced Brands would replace Kennedy this year for losing one match to Gabe. May get Gabe more matches in second semester, which would be good for both guys.

Holding center is more of a freestyle definition of stalling.

Mo was engaging but not attacking the first 2 periods. If he would’ve been dinged for stalling I wouldn’t have had a problem with it. Stout was not engaging and was evading action at the end and should’ve been hit with stalling. But oh well it didn’t matter.

We didn’t? Those of us that can count did, I guess.

Spooner- wanna take this one.

? It’s fine. I doubt he beats PK and that’s ok. Quality depth plus 2 more seasons for him to make his mark.

Gabe Arnold said in his interview he will be at a different weight for the soldier salute. Looks like we will get PK vs. Gabe for 174.

But but but the one guy said Ferris 31 Flavors something something. 😂

B for Keuter? Honest question. Why? If he wasn’t a hawk the entire board would be talking about how he should have been hit with stalling and never took anything that resembled a shot. He is a 240 lb HW that doesn’t even try to get to the legs.
Unlike Peterson & Bailey, who had unranked opponents with mediocre records, Kueter's opponent was ranked #12. And Kueter was wrestling only his second match of the year. But your points are valid.

He just got back from being dinged up my guess is that had something to do with that. Have you watched him before or was that your 1st time?

Stout scored on a weird sequence that can be fixed, imo. Early on Mo was stepping in and faking shots. That left him wide open for a real reshot. He finally stopped stepping in while faking shots and had better results.

Definitely he tried spinning backside when the pressure wasn't there to do so. My guess is he knew immediately what happened. He forced that

Id like to rewatch a few matches. How do we get the replay when it is on BTN?

I’ve come to appreciate the consistent dog in PK, but Block really impressed. I think you have something there.
I’ve always liked block and thought he had some potential. His length I think will give some guys problems at his weight. Think the cut to 141 was too much last year and coming off a serious knee injury, good to see him wrestling the way he is. Good opportunity for him coming a week from tomorrow against a top 5 guy.

As for Kennedy he finds a way to get it done, ran somewhat of a gauntlet at national duals and picked up 4 good wins there, was nice to see him get over the hump against karchala.
