I have been mentioning the term consistency several times this afternoon. One thing that has been consistent is that the defense gives up a big drive immediately after the offense finally comes through in a game. Ugh.
Yup. And the ref right in front of it calls nothing but the guy 20 yards behind the play calls it. FFS.
Well - the mark of a truly dog poop program. play and coach like complete *** once you get all the momentum. The BGJ dna won’t go away.
So many times we look for our defense to take over and put the game away and they don’t do it. It’s not a lack of ability.

And of course the D let's Clemson who had done nothing all day drive for a TD when they have a chance to snuff the life out of them.
And you knew when we didn't get the fourth and 2 stop. Suddenly guys wide open all over the field.
It was pass interference but they have not called one offensive holding against Clemson and there have been blatant holds and hands to the face mask by their OL.
I think this is an area that one could properly classified as “toughness.” Your opponent is desperate to score points, and that is typically when the defense has come up short. I hope that is going to change with the “toughness” Campbell’s teams are known for.
I'd bet 17-15 Clemson right now. I've seen this movie before.
I landed in Iceland at like midnight going on about 24 hours of no sleep. Had to drive about 300 miles from Reykjavik to Akureyri. At about 28 hours without sleep, I got up to the north of Iceland where’s there a stretch of mountains between the Ring Road and the Ocean. In summer, they are green, but treeless and look like the slightly cresting 3000 foot wave if you are going crazy from lack of sleep. I stopped twice to dunk my head straight into a glacial stream running alongside the Ring Road to wake up.
This is why a team should not go for 2 when ahead, particularly when you are not a good 2 point team. Now a field goal only puts you up 8, giving Clemson a chance to tie with another TD. Penn State could have gone up 9 with another FG.

Give it a rest and stop beating a dead horse. Many of us are tired of the same repetitive BS from a few of you.
OPI or DPI? Both players had fistfuls of each other, hence why the guy right in front of the play did not throw a flag. The guy waaay behind the play felt the need to feel important apparently.
