Came here just to see some of the overreactions. A few of you did not disappoint.
Being objective, this team still has to show it’s a playoff-caliber team. Their ranking is based off of last year.
The offense has a long way to go yet. Allar looks average without a good OL and Warren. They can get there, but it will be a journey.
This is NOT a playoff team. Here at the stadium and the team is uninspired and Allar looks pathetic.
The polls are absolutely meaningless but, yes, I was shocked we stayed at 2 after last week--I don't really see us dropping if shut them out--maybe a spot. It's not like this was a competitive game--we just sleptwalked through it
PSU has one of these early clunkers every year. It should be motivating for them.
Exactly my point. And the run game isn’t dominating yet either. Double whammy that needs to be addressed for them to have the season they want.
Yes, our season was “over” last year after the Bowling Green game.
Paterno would not have been successful in 2005 with today’s rules. That season was made by MRob.

No doubt he was. But that 30 yr span ended in the 90’s, which coincided with the time frame when he should have walked away, in my opinion.

I think Singleton is better, more chunk play potential especially against fast defenses.

It’s pretty easy to guess that many of his players would have transferred. I worked with a guy that started and he would have transferred if he could have because he got put in a position he didn’t want to play.

We looked awful against a bad FSU team in the Orange Bowl--thankfully we got the ACC champ
Texas and USC beat us by about 20--that's not close to a title
There are some good takeaways, for sure.
-won the turnover battle
-shutout
-several explosive plays (after seeing 0 last week)
-mostly great special teams
-balanced, if inconsistent offense
