I just read Chaz Coleman is out. Didn’t say why. Anybody know why?
Smolik (QB) is still out and the Freshman QB is questionable. Clifford was receiving reps this week. Isn't there a walk-on QB, he couldn't be worse than putting Clifford in an emergency?
If Kotelnicki has any sense he will avoid plays that put Grunk at risk of injury. The OL better commit themselves to playing the very best they've played all year and to protect Grunk (i.e., earn their $)

Penn State's defense is going to keep them in the game...?

Has he been watching these games?

Struggled with whether I should watch the game at all….I figure I’ll make it until halftime.

PSU's D forces a 3 & out.

Then a 17-yard punt return. Alas, a flag on the return. The refs pick up the flag, so PSU starts on their 42

First play--a WR "sweep" having Kaytron out wide....why?

why is that an issue?

PSU's OL has underperformed this season.

Indiana's DL is terrific

So you throw something at them right at the start that is a surprise. And Kaytron picked up 4 yards on the play, so it's hardly a bad outcome.

PSU picked up an initial 1st down. Then the had a run for -2, and 2 incomplete passes, so they have to punt.

Gabe's punt lands around the 9, but bounces backwards, so it's downed around the 18 (give or take)

It's points to the larger problem that has plagued this team all year. Instead of coming out with a legit game plan we spend too much time on gimmicky stuff--like the last pass they tried to get to Pena. We need to focus on the basics especially with a young QB. And Allen isn't the guy that should be running that play which is yet another problem--not using your players to their strengths.
