What good is review when they not only get it wrong, but overturn the on field refs in doing so? It was clearly targeting and his feet clearly weren’t in during the “INT.” I’m channeling Bushwood here.

3rd & 6 for PSU ...

INT, Iowa

I think they returned it to the PSU 1.

Just about the worse thing Grunk could have done.

It bounced off of Reynolds (who was short of the 1st down), into to the air, and Iowa with the INT

But why throw the ball there
Kid making his first start in a hostile environment--just run the ball and punt

But why would he force the ball in that spot at all. Reynolds was covered and it was a terrible throw and the play design was trash.
We paid big money for these receivers and we throw the ball to our overrated tightened.

Iowa, sneaks it in on 2nd down for the TD.

With the PAT, it's 10-7, Iowa, with 1:14 left in the 2nd qtr.

Is it [possible to throw a 10-15 yards pass? How about a run to the wide side? Why do you call that throw in that situation.
Same garbage play calls for years: runs that can't consistently churn yardage, and conservative passes to the sideline.

No other program in the nation is as scared to throw to the middle of the field as Penn State.

Grunk has had 2 completions go for more than 10y.
