The Nittany Lions earned a road win against the Michigan State Spartans on Nov. 15, dominating 28-10. The victory marked interim head coach Terry Smith's first win, along Penn State retaining the Land Grant Trophy.

Lol, has anything more meaningless being tried to slam down someone's throat! Big 10 has tried like crazy to make this some rivalry game since PSU doesn't truly have one in the Big.

Penn State and Michigan State should collaborate on a new trophy design/build project. When completed, they tell the B1G "here is our new Land Grant" trophy that both schools recognize. If you (B1G) don't like it, pound sand.

Um, the Big Ten has nothing to do with the Land Grant trophy…why would they care?

I just now saw Coach Terry's post-game presser following the win over MSU. I'm sure this has been discussed heavily already but... wow. Terry's not gonna be head coach next year, but at that moment, you can't help but root for him. You'd be hard pressed to find any head coach at any program who was more deeply affected by any win.

This is a guy who loves this university, and who loves this program, and it makes you remember why We Are...

Nobody is whining. One really bad team beat a slightly worse team. 4-6. Try to cool down a little.

In classic Gunsie fashion, he showed all kinds of bravado proclaiming that we’d go 3-9. Then we won, and he goes MIA and doesn’t log into the board again.

I’m sure he’ll reappear again some day under a new name making outlandish claims and disappearing when he’s wrong.
