Snodgrass & Co have an anti-PSU directive. I'm guessing it originates at the B1G HQ.

He needs to be taken out, inadvertently of course.

We need to put this game away. Allowing them to come back from being down 30-3 would not be a good look.

Don't think Kaytron is coming back. After he seemingly had the record, but got called for the penalty.

The downside is he's not prepared for this job and you take a massive step back then look for a coach again next year
Stabilizing 2026 isn't a factor in anything that an intelligent AD would be considering.

Wrong dipsh*t stabilizing next year is higely important. And replacing a coach this year or next is of zero consequence.

Welp... back out there, but... does he look like he's stepping a bit gingerly?

I said it in last week s game thread....all the nonsense started against Michigan in 93 with the bogus crowd noise penalty and has only gotten worse in the last 32 years with this joke conference
I was at that game- that penalty was an all-time screw job

Kaytron back in, and he's 2 yards short of the record.

They give him the ball, and he either gets no gain.

3rd & 7: Clifford at QB -- Kayton is short of the 1st down, but he sets the PSU career rushing record, at 3,934 yard!!!

PSU to punt, but it's a fake, and Luke Reynolds rumbles for the 1st down, and a lot more

The downside would be losing. On the other hand, if we can't get a proven high-level HC (and I don't believe that we will) maybe take a flyer since we have to.

Where's the downside? Smith fails miserably next year, he has no huge expense with replacing him - you go out and hire the best candidate available which is likely to be much easier given the number of all-time Top15 programs looking for HCs in this cycle.
