Personally I’d like to thank the four players that bailed on their teammates today.

Total shut down by PSU in 2nd half. It’s on the whole team and coaches. Mississippi was just better. No big deal. Our key guys out and several key guys getting banged up made it a blow out. We may have been more competitive with them but Ole Miss is a good offensive team. Very few mistakes.
And will show up to remind you that this game has never been referenced as a chess match in the history of football. Most likely because he wants to remove all blame from any coaching staff ever. Kiffen has checkmated James plain and simple
Only a-holes. This particular performance doesn't deserve a defense. But neither do fans who quit on "their" team in the first half.
Again, and for the umpteenth time, name the coach we can get who will be better- I'll sign right up.
I've never been one to point out specific players, but I've seen enough of #5's antics to last a lifetime. He is being worked. And that's how it goes with young players. But stop the BS after the play. An Ole Miss WR had a TD go off his hands, #5 had nothing to do with it, yet he's doing some shuck and jive thing after the play. It's stupid anytime but especially when you've been abused for an entire game. Complete lack of self-awareness. And discipline.
Yeesh. Out and about having a few beers. Glad I didn't stay home to watch this.
Next year needs to be a 24-team playoff if PSU has any ideas of making it

My last hope for college football 2023 is Michigan loses, I'm a pathetic Penn State fan, that's all I have left.
I’m not on a Search committee, but there HAS to be a half dozen capable coaches out there. The patter with CJF has not changed. He cannot win a big game. Damn, he can’t even direct a competent team against good competition.

I wonder how many NFL teams will hold that against them and/or what it will do to their draft status.
You wouldn’t accept the names anyway. We could name off a dozen top coordinators worth a shot, but obviously they’re unproven as head coaches. But at least there’s some chance we’d find the next top coach going that route, even if it’s more likely we end up with someone worse than Franklin. But at least there’d be hope, with Franklin there is no hope, he cannot beat a top opponent, so our ceiling is defined.
They never lined up on the snap, guys running on and off totally confused for 3 of the 4 quarters of the game. Did they not scout this team?
