PSU goes for it on 4th & goal, and tOSU has 2 defenders covering the receiver, and tOSU with an INT.

They play Purdye next week...no one was concerned about him missing a half vs them

Agreed. This dumpster fire should be like a **** stain on Franklin's career forever. Defense sucks and we hired his coordinator for 3 million. Not a single impact player on defense.
The offense is a joke. We literally can't throw the ball and it's a disgrace and I guess big game James would have fired another OC. The offense is devoid of talent outside of Allen.
Everything Franklin did this year was bad and we wasted millions and millions of dollars listening to that loser.
This program is in rough, rough shape thanks to James. We have no confidence or credibility when it comes to winning any meaningful games. Again, disgraceful.

One thing I notice. PSU players never seem to be upset or pissed about losing. There laughing, carrying on etc... Hey, they are making money, NIL. Fans are more upset then the players. Maybe we are the fools. I think so.

Knowls is a good coach. His problem is his unwillingness to adapt and change some things up to better suit the ability of his players is the big issue. Honestly almost all coordinators fall to that weakness.

Amen. I won't name him or his number, but one receiver was standing still - almost w/ his hands on his hips while Grunk was getting sacked on one play.
At this point there needs to be a complete overhaul of the program. All of the coaches should be gone. No one really expected them to beat OSU but they play large segments of games where they literally look like a bad high school team.
I get more upset playing pick up basketball against a bunch of guys in their fifties. Where is the pride and self-respect? Do you care about suffering a beatdown in front of the whole country?
Well he's part of a team that has just lost 5 straight. Both coordinators could pack it up tomorrow and leave State College and it woudn't bother me any.
My guess is he wasn’t coaching his DBs to repeatedly get 5 or more yards behind them on long passes.
