It’s going to be a financial hit to move on from Franklin, but things will get a lot worse if they delay it.

Get to Jan 1, swallow hard and pay the $50 million.
I can't help but to think something negotiated happens the week after next. Kraft vs. Agent... Need to get donors aligned with pledges for the reduced payout

At the risk of laying ALL the blame on the coaching staff, however.... players didn't step up. For the high recruiting rankings PSU has, it seems like this team gets pushed around, can't tackle, and generally get beaten on plays when it really matters.

That’s on the coaching staff.

Franklin's ome saving grace is that he beats teams he's favored against, 2 weeks in a row now and one of the teams lost to UNLV

Franklin is loyal. The loyalty that he has is hurting PSU.

Allen needs to be RB1. Our defense needs to stop rushing the DEs so wide leaving a natural hole between DE and DT.

clearly the second half the biggest weapon the UCLA had was a running QB. Spy him with Wheatley, King Mack someone fast enough to get him on the ground.

0 made about 0 meaningful tackles.

This was a really bad loss. This was the worst loss for PSU in a long time. If people don't think PSU has a problem with Franklin then I don't know what to say. He has been given everything. The OC he wanted and told us was the most creative. The highest paid DC in the country from the NC team. JF cant beat an 0-4 team. It's time for Kraft to work behind the scenes that on Jan 2 hands JF his walking papers and a fat check

If he has any damn shame, he’ll negotiate his buyout (he won’t).

What they should do is hire his replacement and make up some ridiculous title for him with an office on the Behrand campus. It’d be cheaper to pay 2 HC salaries than buy him out. Force him to quit!

You don't believe that the coaching staff deserves any blame for the team playing soft with no discipline.?
