On the replay, you couldn't see the ball, but you could also see him try to gather it while on the ground. If anything the refs today have been consistently inconsistent.
You saw both his arms with no ball in either of them.

Thought it was conclusive that the ball wasn't in his arms and was on the ground down near his midsection. I thought it was the right call to overturn it.

Yes, that's why I used the phrase "try to gather". You could see him trying to regain the ball, but not the ball itself.

48.5 pt spread? Wow ... the wonder of gambling ... in a 52-0 game, somebody is sweating the fact that they're going to have to give handies behind the local Wawa in order to make rent based on whether PSU's 2nd/3rd string defense can make a 4th down stand.

Apparently I was wrong…Lol
If it would have been ruled a catch on the field, it would have been upheld, but since it was ruled incomplete, there wasn’t enough to overturn it.

The good from this game is they moved the ball better on offense in the second half. The starters on D were relentless. The offense looks competent with Allen in there…big difference. And they won’t be overconfident in two weeks! They should be pissed off on offense and hopefully it motivates them!

We’re four years into this RB duo era and by this point it should be apparent that Allen is the superior threat out of the backfield. Their yards per attempt today are indicative. Singleton obviously has the better speed, but the reality is that Allen reads the lanes better, is more elusive, and doesn’t as often get taken down by the first tackler. We need significant doses of both in order to slow the wear and tear on either guy, but in the biggest of moments I need to see more of Allen.

We won 52-6 with them getting a garbage TD. There's way too much angst over this team right now.
Yes, the offense must improve--that's not exactly shocking given the fact we lost Warren who was the focus of the offense last year.

But in many games last year our offense moved better with Singleton….it depends on the game.
