I just don’t understand how we are the top 1 seed and also draw arguably the top 2 seed in Michigan state. The only other thing that makes me scratch my head is the potential Virginia tech match up. Yes they beat us without Zion but they also didn’t have Robinson. They need to stop doing the whole “ overall number 1 seed” nonsense if they don’t follow the rankings correctly
Everyone called a certain 2010 team alarmingly unathletic, things went pretty good for them iirc.
I think some of you are underestimating Gonzaga. Bad conference or not they are a veteran, really good team.
CBS showed a list of the top 4 seeds and it had MSU at 6th overall.
Let’s wait and see how Tech gets acclimated to having Robinson back in the lineup. Didn’t work well for us in 2011
Duke is too athletic for MSU imo. I like drawing them. They are really banged up too. I don’t love VT as the 4, but they have a tough one against miss st

....i hate to see injustice and after listening to the committee chair talk about how they picked teams the choice is even worse. 22-11 in the toughest conference vs 19-13/14 in weaker conferences doesnt get in is just mind boggling.Meaning they were the #2 ranked 2 seed which is what I said... but I’d argue they are the top 2 seed. Did you catch who they ranked as the top 2 seed?
Although we seem to have MSUs number, we are always playing them. As the #1 overall seed we should’ve had a better draw. They don’t suck at all.

We have mind control over MSU. They just can’t beat us. Plus they don’t have enough. Their best player plays the position that our best defender plays.
Robinson has played at Virginia tech for 4 years. Kyrie had played with that duke rotation a very small handful of games. I wouldn’t think they’d have a problem at all. It just depends on his level of play coming off an injury but we’ll get a preview from the first round

Yeah but they play hard and play tough. I'm sure we'd beat them but I don't think it'd be easy.

If we didn't have Zion I'd be nervous about a few teams. But not with Zion. Maybe MSU or LSU, but not that nervous.
