Terrible take by the OP. Curry is a one time league MVP (3 x All-star) who took five years to just make the all-star roster. That hardly qualifies as GOAT. Maybe if he continues to put up similar numbers for another ten years you can list his name in the same GOAT conversation with a Wilt (4 x MVP, 13 x All-star) , Jordan (5 x MVP, 14 x All-star), Kareem (6 x MVP, 19 x All-star) etc.

You're kidding right? It's not even close. George is good but Curry is one of the best of all-time.
Really impressed with Paul George this year. He has very little help from the other four starters. So teams can really focus on stopping him. Still putting up monster numbers.
Meanwhile Curry has three other current or former All-stars (Thompson, Green and Iguodala) playing along with him. That really make things much easier for him. It is way too early to talk about Curry in the GOAT conversation.

You have to realize Jordan and the elite play exceptional defense as well as being unstoppable offensively. Only four players have received an MVP award and a defensive player of the year award. That's elite. Honestly without Thompson and definitely Green, Curry wouldn't be the force he is today.
Honestly without 4 teammates, a head coach, some bench guys, a front office, a stadium, and a league Jordan wouldn't have won any titles. Jordan had some great teammates. The last elite guy that didn't was Lebron on those terrible Cavs teams (Mo Williams! Almost retired Shaq! Varejao (sp)!). Maybe Howard (when he should have won MVP) with the Magic. Wade with the Heat was also bad that year before Lebron arrived.
Another masterpiece by Steph. He shot an ungodly 92 EF% tonight. 20-27, 10-15 threes, along with ANOTHER half-court shot. He single-handedly carried the Warriors to three road wins, and will drop another 50 on Saturday. Steph is on another planet; even Jordan, Bird, and Kareem awe at his greatness. No one has ever seen a season like this; no one has seen a player like this. Let's not forget; he still had 8 assists and 7 rebounds, and a block.
Steph might get 60-50-95 next season. Be sure not to miss his magical play when they take on the Thunder. Steph makes Durant look mediocre. There's Jordan, Gretzky, Ruth, and Brady, then there is Stephen Curry. Make sure not to miss the show on Tuesday and Thursday of next week, before they play the Lakers on National TV. Appreciate his greatness, for it won't last forever.....
